Creative to receive US$100 million license payment
Creative Technology has reached an amicable settlement with Apple Computer over their alleged patent infringement lawsuits, which we mentioned in our earlier report that it would favour Creative the most, with Apple paying US$100m as a one-time licensing fee. The good news just continues as Creative is also joining Apple’s “Made for iPod” program and would be announcing accessories later this year.
