Search Engine Optimization Tips – make site navigation easy
If you want to know how robot crawl your site, just view the source of generated html content. Basically robot will just read from the first character till the last. Here is something for you to think about: if link to page B is at the end of my page, can robot find it?
A rule of thumb is to put your important content(key phrases) and your links at higher position so that it can be easily crawled by robot so that next page can be crawled and PR can be propagated to next page as well.
If for any reason you need to use javascript or image as navigation link, try to put plain text link if possible, as robot prefer plain html. The following changes is performed for the same reason:
