STI closed 2005 at 2347.34
The Singapore stock market closed the last trading session of 2005 on a positive note, as last-minute bargain hunting lifted the STI 1.96 points to 2,347.34. A total of 609.5m shares worth S$616.5m were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 263 to 212. There were 663 stocks which held steady. For the week, the STI gained 19.05 points or 0.8%.
Although STI not manage to stay above 2350, overall I think it is not bad also. Tech stock not doing well today, but fortunately bio-treat and biosensor is up
